Chronology of cameras Hunter

The principle of the shutter used in the Purma cameras is protected by a patent filed in 1936 in Great Britain by Alfred Croger Mayo, then in 1938 in the United States.
This model of Purma was issued after the Second World War, but I do not know if it is newer than the other Purma Plus. Its finish, completed by three red plates is better with a beautiful hammered paint. One of these plates (around the eye) is used to know the velocity of the shutter.
The camera is very heavy in proportion to its size, but this can probably be explained by the principle of the shutter, the speed of which is set by gravity.
